About K2 Mobile Fitness
K2 Mobile Fitness was founded in 2021 with a vision of bringing movement directly to the community. What began as a fully mobile training service has grown into something even more dynamic.
Today, K2 offers both a physical training location and mobile options — because accessibility still matters.
In a world where we’re sitting more than ever, many people are building strength on top of imbalance. At K2, we take a different approach. We prioritize posture, alignment, and functional movement first — creating a foundation that allows your strength to last.
Our mission hasn’t changed — only expanded.
We’re here to help you move better, feel stronger, and stay active in a way that fits your life.

About Karen Burdsall
Egoscue Certified Posture Alignment Specialist
ACE Certified Fitness Trainer and Functional Mobility Specialist
Hi, my name is Karen. I am originally from MD. In 2011 my husband and I dug up our MD roots and took off to TX where we lived for a little over a year, from there we looped around the country in our RV for 2 years… and that is what landed us here in SW Florida.
I became a certified personal trainer in 2007. My primary reason for getting certified was to learn how to work out effectively for my own benefit. Around that same time, I signed up to run my first half marathon. In addition, I was looking for strength training routines that could be done outside the overwhelming environment of a traditional gym.
Through personal experience and education, I have gained an understanding how today’s modern technologies have negatively impacted our ability to move well… it has become a fascination to learn about the body’s ability to restore functional mobility and to heal itself with the proper guidance.
I love everything about movement! Understanding how and why we move the way we do. Everything I share is based on my own experiences, as well as those of my clients, with practices that I have found to be most effective. My passion is to help people move… and not just move, but to move WELL both functionally and efficiently utilizing our bodies as effectively as possible, so we can enjoy the activities we love!
